What a brand pays
Posting collabs is free. A brand pays when it hires: the creator's fee, an 8% platform fee, and 18% GST on that fee. For example, a ₹15,000 fee costs the brand ₹16,416: ₹15,000 for the creator, ₹1,200 platform fee and ₹216 GST. The creator's fee is held from the moment the payment is confirmed.
Cancelling before the work is submitted
If the brand and creator agree in the chat to cancel, or the creator says they can't do it, the brand gets a full refund: the creator's fee, the platform fee and the GST.
Any product already sent stays with the creator unless the chat says otherwise.
If the work is late
If nothing has been submitted 7 days after the agreed due date, the brand can ask us to cancel the hire. We check the chat for any agreed change of date, then refund in full.
After the work is submitted
The brand can approve the work or ask for changes, with a note. Creators make reasonable changes that keep to what was agreed.
If the two can't agree, either side can write to us with the collab's name. We look at the collab, the chat and the work, and decide within 5 working days to release the fee, split it, or refund it. If we refund, the platform fee and GST are refunded in the same share.
After approval
Approving the work releases the fee to the creator, and the app asks the brand to confirm first. After that, the fee is the creator's and we can't refund it.
How refunds are paid
While payments are handled by hand, our team sends refunds to the account the brand paid from, by bank transfer or UPI, usually within 5 to 7 working days of our decision. We write to the brand with the bank reference (UTR) when it's sent.
To ask for a cancellation or refund, write to hello@tryunifyops.com from your account email with the collab's name.
Creators
Creators pay nothing to use the service, so there's nothing to refund. If a creator's payout details don't match, we hold the payout and tell them what to fix.
